Welcome to DocsxBrenda. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of DocsxBrenda.com and services provided by DocsxBrenda (“DocsxBrenda,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing this website, requesting a quote, scheduling an appointment, submitting documents, or purchasing services from DocsxBrenda, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms, along with our Service Fees & Policies and Privacy Notice.

1. Our Services

DocsxBrenda provides notary and document-related services, which may include:

• General Notary Services

• Mobile Notary Services

• Remote Online Notarization (RON)

• Loan Signing Services

• Apostille Facilitation

• Translation Services

• Document Preparation

• Witness Coordination

• Other related document services

Services are subject to availability, applicable law, identification requirements, receiving-agency requirements, and any additional terms disclosed before or at the time of booking.

2. We Are Not a Law Firm

DocsxBrenda is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice or legal representation.

A Notary Public is not authorized to practice law solely by virtue of holding a notary commission. We cannot advise you regarding your legal rights, determine which legal document you should use, interpret the legal effect of a document, or advise you whether a transaction is in your best interest. If you require legal advice, you should consult a licensed attorney.

3. Notarial Services

All notarizations are subject to applicable Texas law and the notary's independent determination that the requirements for the requested notarial act have been satisfied. The notary may decline or discontinue a notarization when appropriate, including when satisfactory identification cannot be established, the signer does not appear willing or aware, required parties are unavailable, the document or transaction raises concerns, or applicable notarial requirements cannot otherwise be satisfied. Payment for an appointment does not guarantee that a notarization can or will be completed.

4. Identification

Signers are responsible for having acceptable identification available at the scheduled appointment. If you are uncertain whether your identification is acceptable, you should contact DocsxBrenda before your appointment. Failure to establish identity as required for the requested notarization may result in cancellation of the appointment. Applicable fees may be non-refundable in accordance with our Service Fees & Policies.

5. Document Responsibility

Clients are responsible for providing complete and accurate documents and information. Unless DocsxBrenda has specifically been hired to provide document preparation services, clients are responsible for determining which documents they require and ensuring documents are complete and ready for notarization. DocsxBrenda is not responsible for errors contained in documents supplied by a client or third party.

6. Document Preparation

When document preparation services are requested, DocsxBrenda prepares documents using information and instructions supplied by the client. Document preparation services do not constitute legal advice. We cannot select legal documents for you, advise you regarding your legal rights, or determine whether a document is legally appropriate for your circumstances. Clients are responsible for reviewing all prepared documents for accuracy before signing or submission.

7. Translation & Language Services

Translation services are provided based on the source documents supplied by the client. During a notarial or loan-signing appointment, DocsxBrenda may communicate with a signer in Spanish; however, being hired as a notary or signing agent does not include translating, interpreting, or explaining the legal meaning or effect of documents at the signing table. Certain language-specific loan signings may require completion of a Language Acknowledgement before the scheduled appointment.

8. Loan Signing Services

DocsxBrenda may assist with real-estate and loan signing appointments as an independent Notary Public or Loan Signing Agent. We do not represent the lender, title company, escrow company, attorney, buyer, or seller unless expressly stated otherwise. Questions concerning interest rates, loan terms, closing figures, legal consequences, or the substance of transaction documents must be directed to the appropriate lender, title company, attorney, or other authorized professional. Certain transactions may require signing at an approved title company or attorney's office and may be subject to additional facility or room-rental fees.

9. Remote Online Notarization

Remote Online Notarization is performed pursuant to applicable Texas law using an approved or appropriate technology platform. RON availability does not guarantee that the receiving party will accept an electronically or remotely notarized document.

Clients are responsible for confirming that the receiving agency, lender, title company, government entity, or other recipient will accept Remote Online Notarization before proceeding.

10. Apostille Services

DocsxBrenda may facilitate submission of eligible documents for authentication or apostille. We cannot guarantee processing times, approval, acceptance, or actions taken by the Texas Secretary of State, U.S. Department of State, foreign governments, consulates, courts, shipping carriers, or other third parties. Clients are responsible for determining whether an apostille, authentication, legalization, certified copy, or another form of certification is required by the ultimate receiving authority.

11. Appointments, Fees & Payment

Pricing may vary based on the requested service, travel, appointment time, document requirements, language services, printing, witnesses, facility requirements, shipping, and other circumstances. Applicable pricing will be disclosed before or during booking whenever reasonably possible. Additional information regarding cancellation, rescheduling, waiting, after-hours, weekend, holiday, travel, room-rental, re-signing, and other charges is available in our Service Fees & Policies.

12. Cancellations, Refunds & Re-Signs

Cancellation and refund eligibility is governed by our Service Fees & Policies. Notarial fees are non-refundable after the notarial act has been completed. If DocsxBrenda makes a confirmed notarial error, we will make reasonable efforts to correct the notarization or re-notarize the affected document at no additional notarial charge. Documentation from the receiving party identifying the notarial error may be required. Re-signs resulting from signer error, incorrect information supplied by the client, document changes, receiving-party requirements, or circumstances outside DocsxBrenda's control may require a new appointment and applicable fees.

13. Third-Party Services

DocsxBrenda may use third-party services in providing services, including electronic-signature and RON platforms, payment processors, scheduling providers, shipping carriers, cloud services, title companies, government agencies, and other service providers. DocsxBrenda is not responsible for outages, delays, errors, service interruptions, lost shipments, or other circumstances caused by third-party providers beyond our reasonable control.

14. Acceptance by Receiving Parties

DocsxBrenda cannot guarantee that a document will be accepted by a particular lender, title company, government agency, court, foreign authority, financial institution, or other recipient. Clients are responsible for confirming the recipient's requirements before requesting services. Rejection of a document for reasons unrelated to an error made by DocsxBrenda does not automatically entitle the client to a refund.

15. Website Information

We make reasonable efforts to keep the information on DocsxBrenda.com accurate and current. However, website content is provided for general informational purposes and may be changed or updated without notice.

Information presented on this website should not be interpreted as legal, financial, tax, immigration, or other professional advice.

16. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise indicated, the DocsxBrenda name, branding, website design elements, original written content, graphics, and other original materials appearing on this website are owned by or licensed to DocsxBrenda.

They may not be reproduced, distributed, modified, or used for commercial purposes without prior permission.

Your use of our website and services may involve the collection and processing of personal information.

18. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, DocsxBrenda will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages arising from use of our website or services, third-party delays or failures, rejection of documents for reasons outside our control, or inaccurate information supplied by a client or third party.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

19. Changes to These Terms

DocsxBrenda may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes in our services, business practices, or applicable requirements.

The current version will be posted on this website with the date of the most recent revision.

Continued use of our website or services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.

20. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
